Back-to-School Jumpstart Workshop

Returning to school following a significant loss can bring up a range of feelings and emotions for bereaved children. No matter how children are feeling or what they are experiencing, going back to school is an adjustment that you can navigate together.
In this workshop caregivers will learn how grief impacts learning. They will also learn how to advocate for their child and how to communicate with the school. Children will learn how to identify people at school who can support them as well as strategies for managing hard days.
Back-to-School Jumpstart is open to students in grades K-12. Guardians must be present onsite throughout the workshop.
