Back-to-School Jumpstart Workshop

Returning to school following a significant loss can bring up a range of feelings and emotions for bereaved children. No matter how children are feeling or what they are experiencing, going back to school is an adjustment that you can navigate together.
In this workshop parents will learn how grief impacts learning. They will also learn how to advocate for their child and how to communicate with their child’s school. Children will identify people at school who can be a support to them and learn how to cope when they are having a hard day.
