Grief in the Workplace Webinar
March 25, 2026 @ 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
This free webinar is among a series of trainings designed to increase understanding of the grieving process, develop skills to support grieving individuals, improve communication, foster resilience, and help people find new meaning after a death. These webinars provide knowledge about how to offer emotional and practical support, navigate awkward conversations, and care for oneself and others during times of bereavement.
While addressing grief is never easy, the human resources department, supervisors, and colleagues are in a unique position to help after someone at work has experienced a loss. They often have distance from the death, understand benefits and resources available, know their employee/ colleague’s day to day behavior, and notice changes, and can actively engage the workplace in creating compassionate responses to loss.
Learning Outcomes:
Understanding how grief impacts the workplace.
Supporting grieving team members.
How to be a good grief colleague.
How to interact with the family.
