Finding Meaning, Hope, & Purpose After Loss (webinar)
April 20, 2027 @ 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
This free webinar is among a series of trainings designed to increase understanding of the grieving process, develop skills to support grieving individuals and colleagues, improve communication, foster resilience, and help people find new meaning after a death. These webinars provide knowledge about how to offer emotional and practical support, navigate awkward conversations, and care for oneself and others during times of bereavement.
One of the deepest challenges of grief is making sense of a world that has been changed by loss. Many people find themselves asking difficult questions: Why did this happen? What comes next? Will I ever feel hopeful again? While grief cannot be rushed or solved, many people discover that over time they can find meaning, reconnect with hope, and create a renewed sense of purpose. This webinar explores how meaning-making can support healing and help individuals move forward while continuing to honor the person they have lost.
By the end of this webinar, participants will:
• Understand the role of meaning-making in grief.
• Recognize that hope and grief can coexist.
• Explore personal values and sources of strength.
• Identify ways to honor a loved one’s legacy.
• Develop a plan for cultivating purpose and hope in daily life.
